Everyday Clean
What does your standard recurring clean include?
An Everyday Clean covers the high-use areas of your home: kitchen countertops, sinks, appliance exteriors, and floors; bathroom scrubbing and disinfecting including toilets, showers, tubs, and mirrors; dusting surfaces and furniture throughout living areas and bedrooms; vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors; making beds; emptying trash; and wiping down light switches and door handles.
Do you make beds as part of a standard clean?
Yes, bed-making is included in our Everyday Clean. If you'd like us to change the linens entirely, that's available as an add-on for $5 per bed — just provide the fresh linens and we'll handle the rest.
How is a weekly clean different from a monthly clean — does the scope change?
The checklist is the same regardless of frequency, but the price reflects how much work each visit typically requires. Weekly visits maintain a consistently clean home, so each session is quicker and lighter. Monthly visits tend to require more time since more has accumulated between visits. That's why weekly pricing is our lowest rate and one-time or monthly visits are priced higher.
Are dishes and trash included in an Everyday Clean?
Yes to both. We take care of any dishes left in the sink and empty trash bins throughout the home as part of every standard visit — any bin that's around half full or more. If you're in a condo or apartment, just let us know where trash and recycling should go (the chute, dumpster location, etc.) when you book, so we can take care of it without interruption.
Why do you only empty trash bins that are at least half full?
Swapping out a liner that's barely used creates unnecessary waste — both the bag itself and the cost of replacing it. We empty bins that are around half full or more, so liners get fully used before they're replaced. It's a small thing, but it's better for the environment and better for your household budget. If you have a bin you'd like emptied regardless, just send us a note before your clean — or anytime if you're on a recurring plan — and we'll take care of it.
